Ep 754 • NOT A DAY LIKE ANY OTHER •

Some people will get up this morning, and treat this day like any other day. But today is not like every other day. Today is the culmination of millions of people praying thousands of hours of prayer, for the rescuing of our Country. Better than half the population of these United States of America are rejoicing today, because they truly believe from what they have witnessed over the past 4 years, that our once great Nation was quite literally headed for destruction.

And they were right.

We have been given a window of opportunity to change our direction, both in our public and in our private lives. We are not just changing our Leadership. What has been divinely set before us is an opportunity to also change our own hearts and actions. To embrace a new heart posture towards God, and towards our fellow human beings. And if our heart changes our actions will soon follow.

We did not get to this place of corporate desperation in our country merely because of poor leadership. We all bear some responsibility for the condition we have found our Nation in. Sin is a reproach to any people. And we have felt the sting of our own sin and immorality. God is calling us to repent of wrong thinking and wrongdoing, so that His favor, and His blessing, may once again return to us. He is willing if we are willing.

We must learn now once again to embrace Love and righteousness, truth and transparency, in all of our actions, both corporately and privately. Will we learn from our mistakes and respond to this invitation? Or will we shrink back into the things that caused us to lose our footing in the first place. These are the questions that lay before us. Will we recognize what caused the declining of our Nation in the first place?Or will we return to "business as usual." That's wise men and women have said, if we don't learn from our mistakes we're doomed to repeat them.

Today is day of rejoicing. Today is a day of giving things to God and reflecting upon what it took to in here. Today more than anything, is a day of opportunity. A day to change. A day to reflect upon our ways and go a new direction. Then tomorrow is a day of putting our hands in the plow, and taking the first step into that new direction.

Pray for one another. Pray for your new Leadership. Pray for yourself. Ask Lord of Heaven and Earth to help you be the person He wants you to be, and your leaders to be the people they are supposed to be. Do this so that "righteousness will exalt a Nation" and sin will not become a reproach to our people. This United States of America belongs to God. Let's treat it like it does, and truly believe that God ordained America ro be a light to the world, and a city set on a hill.
