This is the second half of the Pantry Challenge week 2 meals.
Homemade Mozzarella Sticks
¾ cup flour
2 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs + 1 TBSP water
2 cups panko
2 tsp Italian seasoning
Mozzarella cheese (block or string cheese) cut into ¾ inch sticks
Oil for frying.
In 3 separate bowls mix flour, salt, pepper garlic powder in one bowl
Egg and water in another bowl
Panko and Italian seasoning in another bowl
Dip cheese in egg, flour, egg, and panko. Place cheese sticks on to a prepared baking sheet and freeze for 25 to 40 minutes.
Heat oil to 350-degrees. Remove cheese sticks from the freezer, work in batches to fry. Cook until golden brown on all sides, about 2 minutes. Remove and drain serve immediately with marinara sauce. Serving size 4 pcs per person.

Beef and Broccoli
1 pound beef sliced
Pepper
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup water
1 TBSP brown sugar
4 cloves of garlic minced
1 TBSP ginger minced
1 TBSP sesame oil (I do not use family does not like it)
½ of yellow onion chopped
1 head broccoli cut up and blanched
Cooked rice or noodles
For Garnish Sesame seeds and or green onions chopped.
Season beef with pepper. In a small bowl whisk soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch; set aside. Add oil in skillet and cook beef add onion cook until done. Blanch and add broccoli, add sauce stir to coat mix and stir well cook for 3 to 5 minutes until sauce thickens and reduces some. Serve mixture over cooked rice or cooked noodles.
