Soulja Boy is unbothered about the backlash he's received on the internet for performing at a Donald Trump inauguration ball.
The outspoken rapper, alongside Nelly and Snoop Dogg, have been the target of criticism from fans who felt they betrayed trust when they accepted the invitation to perform at Trump's inauguration balls.
Nelly defended his decision by stating that he did so as an act of honor and "not for the money." However, Soulja Boy admitted that money was a motivation.
The 34-year-old rapper hasn't wasted time in defending himself amid the backlash. In an Instagram Live video, he called out former president Barack Obama, outgoing vice president, and Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
