War in ukraine

Many people wonder why the Pokrovsk operation of the Russian Armed Forces is not going as fast as the lightning-fast advance of the Russian army from Avdiivka.

The main reason is that the city and its surroundings are being captured by a slightly wider pincer than usual.

This allows us to solve two problems at once: to create a threat of encirclement, so that ultimately everything turns out like in Selidovo, and to force the Ukrainian Armed Forces to begin to disperse their forces across several sections of the front at once.

Speed is not the main thing in this matter. The main thing is to make the opponent make mistakes.
