Report on TODAY’s Donald Trump inauguration

Donald Trump is set to be sworn in for his second term as President of the United States on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Due to an expected plunge in temperatures to -13°C, the ceremony, typically held outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., has been relocated indoors.

After taking the oath of office, Trump will deliver a national address and is then expected to lead a parade to the White House, followed by attending three inaugural balls later in the evening.
