Met figures show that 18,345 bikes were reported stolen in London in 2022, with 98% of the cases attributed to illegal aliens. Each bike is worth about $500 on average with a theft happening every 16 minutes.
About 1% of the cases result in a charge. In other words, there's a 98% chance of your bike never being returned after being stolen by an illegal - even if someone stands there filming it!
