Synopsis
"The Train" (1964), now colorized, is a gripping World War II thriller directed by John Frankenheimer. Set in Nazi-occupied France, the film follows a French Resistance fighter, played by Burt Lancaster, who must prevent a train loaded with stolen French art treasures from reaching Nazi Germany.

The plot centers on the efforts of Paul Labiche (Burt Lancaster), a railway worker who becomes embroiled in a dangerous mission to sabotage a train carrying priceless works of art that are being looted by the Nazis. With the help of the French Resistance, Labiche must outsmart German forces and sabotage the train without being detected. As the clock ticks, Labiche faces both external dangers and the moral dilemma of preserving his country's heritage while risking his life for the cause.
