Until the 1960's, Canada was homogeneous enough, overwhelmingly White, European, Anglophone, and Christian. This provided sufficient commonalty that people all regarded themselves as Canadians.

Diversity™ is the cause of the dissolution of Canadian society into a Potemkin village of pseudo tolerance, envy and coercion, parasitism and faux ethics.

In Canada, this was done with a bait and switch, sold as multiculturalism between European groups, that was changed to to multiracialism, and the accommodation of divergent racial, religious and cultural groups, that have no common genetic heritage.
