Plants vs Zombies 2 - Zomboss - Seedium Showcase - Snap Pea - January 2025

Plant of the Week - Snap Pea - was offered between January 18, 2025 through January 25, 2025.

Snap Pea is a member of the Enforcement-Mint family.
Snap Pea costs 200 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 4 and 8.)
When planted, Snap Pea will swallow a zombie in front of it.
Snap Pea will then chew the zombie for 20 seconds. (-1 second on levels 2-9, -2 seconds on level 10.)
Snap Pea will then spit out the zombie head, dealing 400 damage. (+100 damage on levels 2-9, +300 damage on level 10.)
If Snap Pea can not swallow the zombie, it will fire 3 peas which deal 30 damage each. (+5 damage per level.)
When given plant food, Snap Pea will swallow five (5) random zombies on the lawn and immediately spit out the heads.

Commentary:
Looks like someone did some genetic plant engineering by crossing Peashooter with Chomper.

Bottom Line:
Snap Pea is a cool plant. Snap Pea is a fun plant to play. We can appreciate that. But Snap Pea is simply not an effective plant. Snap Pea does no damage against Zomboss. Snap Pea would get overrun in the endless levels. So we simply can not recommend Snap Pea as a go-to plant.

That said, play Snap Pea on the Adventure levels. Snap Pea can handle some of the Penny's Pursuit levels. It is a fun plant to play.

Level 2 Objective - Remove six (6) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 15 Snap Pea seeds.
Players start with 1,500 Sun.

Level 3 Objective - Remove eight (8) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 20 Snap Pea seeds.
Players start with 1,250 Sun.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
