Mitt Romney acknowledges that in order to prevent Americans from learning about the atrocities occurring in Gaza, Israel had Congress ban TikTok.

This conversation between Mitt Romney and Antony Blinken took place on May 3, 2024, at the McCain Institute's 2024 Sedona Forum in Sedona, Arizona. Here is the transcript:
MITT ROMNEY: Typically, the Israelis are good at PR. What's happened here?

ANTONY BLINKEN, U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE: The way this has played out on social media has dominated the narrative. The emotion, the impact of images dominates.

MITT ROMNEY: Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down potentially TikTok or other entities of that nature. If you look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians relative to other social media sites, it's overwhelmingly so among TikTok.

Imagine calling the genocide of the Palestinian people a PR campaign. Who does this? Treason is committed here, and they should all face appropriate penalties.
