⚠️ Bad weather has hit Italian Sicily on January 17.
The Lipari islands are isolated due to the gradual deterioration of weather and sea conditions.

ℹ️ The districts of Palagonia and Riposto were among the worst affected, with rescue operations underway to free people stranded in cars due to flooded roads. In Randazzo, the Annunziata creek overflowed, leaving 15 people isolated and requiring an evacuation plan to rescue them.

🛡 Strong winds raging in the Syracuse area caused extensive damage in many places. Wind gusts in the province reached 70-80 km/h. In addition to the tornado between Noto and Avola, another tornado touched down in the Syracuse area, specifically in Augusta, where roofs were ripped off, trees fell and debris littered the streets.
