My old power adapter for my Ring camera stopped working so I had to check to see why. Looks like the cable was worn through at a certain point which caused it to stop powering my Ring Camera. I checked it with my multimeter and it was still working prior to the break in the cable so I decided to reattach it to both my old Ring Video Doorbell 2 and the new Ring Battery Doorbell Plus. It worked on both units.
