The Mob (1951)

Directed by Robert Parrish and starring Broderick Crawford. The story follows Johnny Damico, a tough and street-smart New York cop who inadvertently lets a murder suspect slip through his fingers. To redeem himself, he goes undercover as a longshoreman to infiltrate and expose a powerful crime syndicate controlling the docks.
