Political Liberty is Coming

In this midweek study through Isaiah 61:1-3, we look at the statement that Isaiah was sent to "proclaim liberty to the captives". First, we look at how, not only Israel, but the whole world is in captivity. Then, we look at Israel's promised political liberty. But further, we then look at how this liberty that is prophesied refers to much more, including our Lord's consummate kingdom on earth, when He will subdue all things. Then, we see the need for us today to preach this same deliverance, that spans far beyond the Christian's immediate freedom from sin.
