Synopsis:
In this classic creature feature, an enormous prehistoric praying mantis is unleashed from the Arctic ice by a volcanic eruption. The gigantic insect embarks on a deadly rampage, attacking remote outposts, cities, and military bases as it migrates southward, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Colonel Joe Parkman (Craig Stevens) leads the military’s efforts to track and destroy the monster, while paleontologist Dr. Ned Jackson (William Hopper) provides scientific insight into the creature’s origins and behavior. Alongside journalist Marge Blaine (Alix Talton), they must work against the clock to stop the mantis before it reaches major population centers.
