Synopsis:
In this sci-fi horror classic, investigative reporter Audrey Aimes (Peggie Castle) stumbles upon a series of mysterious, deadly events in rural Illinois. She discovers that a swarm of giant, radioactive grasshoppers is wreaking havoc after being accidentally created in a government experiment involving radiation-enhanced crops.

Teaming up with scientist Dr. Ed Wainwright (Peter Graves), they uncover the horrifying truth: the oversized insects are breeding and advancing towards Chicago, leaving destruction in their wake. As the military struggles to contain the menace, Wainwright devises a daring plan to stop the infestation and save the city from total annihilation.
