Morbidly obese pig who went BLIND binging on junk food has been put on a strict diet

A morbidly obese pig that went 'fat blind' after being kept and fed junk food in a man cave in her owner's garage has been put on a strict diet by rescuers. Rosie, 11 months, tipped the scales at 400lbs - twice the average for her species - when she was found by animal control living in her owner’s garage. The pot-bellied porker was suffering heart problems and was so overweight, fat drooped over her eyelids and left her unable to see. She was taken in by Carolina Waterfowl Rescue in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 23 and is now on a strict diet to help her shed the pounds. Center director Jennifer Gordon, 48, said she'll also be taken on daily walks around the pen in the hope of getting her down to a healthy weight.
