Frost the Classic Birthday Cake

The Classic Birthday Cake is the number one birthday cake that people request from me. Who can resist a moist yellow cake with Chocolate Frosting?!
This is my "go to" Chocolate Frosting Recipe for Two 8 or 9-inch Layers
5 TBSP Sifted Unsweetened Cocoa
1/2 Cup (1 stick) Salted or Unsalted Butter + 1 TBSP
1/3-1/2 Cup Whole Milk or Half & Half
3 Cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
This is my adaptation of the Hershey's "Perfectly Chocolatey" Chocolate Frosting recipe.
