Riding the YZ250X on the East side, Desert Vista single track by Wildcat OHV

We took a break from Boulders OHV and traveled East to an area better known as Wildcat OHV for a change of pace. We ended up with a total of 8 riders to start, another club member of Ghostriders joined us for part of the ride and turned out 36 miles of single track today. Wildcat is pretty dry and dusty like everywhere in AZ now and the terrain is decomposed granite so it's a lot like riding in kitty litter sprinkled on hard pack at times with the occasional rocky sections thrown in. I'm glad I threw a new tire and bib mousse on the front of the YZ for this ride because the old one had 400 miles on it and the side knobs were starting to tear off. The Tusk Recon on the rear is getting changed to a new one and after that I'm going to try some of the Bridgestone X30 rears I got on super sale, they are also supposed to be a great rear tire for off road.
