A captured Ukrainian border guard, Ivan Kuts, revealed shocking details about the Ukrainian army's actions. He claimed that Kyiv's regime is burning the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers to avoid compensating their families. Kuts stated that the number of casualties is much higher than reported, overwhelming local crematoriums. As a result, mobile crematoriums were brought in to handle the bodies. He also alleged that foreign mercenaries' bodies were burned to hide their presence in Ukraine. Kuts’s testimony followed his surrender, along with five other officers, to Russian forces on January 6.
