A problem California and LA/Southern California has had since the mid - late 1800's has been the fight over water, water rights and distribution. The 1974 movie Chinatown with Jack Nicholson is all about that. We explore what is going on today, talking about the waste of water being diverted or left to flow into the ocean instead of being captured in tanks/reservoirs etc.

Why were reservoirs left empty, why was fire equipment only at something like 70% availability, why are a billionaire couple who own Wonderful Foods, makers of products you know like POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios, Almonds, Fiji Water, and more, able to control 60% of the water from Northern California and control how much gets to Southern California? Why are they able to buy water at $28 per acre foot and then sell it back to California at $180 per acre foot and so on, and so on.

Newsom and the CA Democrat super majority have mismanaged the entire state and now the Chickens Are Coming Home to Roost! Is it because politicians are in bed with Stewart and Lynda Resnick, Wonderful Foods owners, whom they have wielded their money and influence to get bills passed in their favor, ultimately affecting millions of people all the way down the line? It's quite possible, or probable ... or definite. Makes you wonder – fully delving into that possibility.
