Raisin Filled Cookies

Dough
1 cup Sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 eggs
1/4 cup clabbered milk (1/- cup of milk,+ 1 teaspoon white vinegar mixed in.)
5 cups all purpose flour

Filling
1/2 pound dried Raisins (or dried fruit of choice)
1/2 cups Chopped nuts (Option)
1 cup sugar
1/8 cup filtered water
Cook until tender, then add
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoons nutmeg

After dough comes together, cover and place in fridge for a half hour. Roll your dough out, and cut out shapes. Put a half a teaspoon of raisin mix in the center of one cookie. Brush the edge of the cookie with water, and place another cookie on top. Seal with a fork, and cut a vent hole in the top of the cookie. Bake in a 350° ,for 10. -14 Minutes.
