Storm Shield Forecast morning update 8/24/18

Temperatures are in the low 90s in the valley and Kern River Valley again today with Tehachapi and Frazier Park climbing to the low 90s this afternoon. The big bummer with this sunny and seasonal forecast is that valley air quality has gotten much worse. The National Weather Service in Hanford says that's because of smoke from the wildfires still burning in Northern California that's been drawn offshore over the ocean and is now being pushed back into the Central Valley where it's getting stuck.
