🍗Tips for getting juicy whole chicken🍗

Cooking a whole chicken is not as intimidating as it may sound 🐣 Keep it simple and you will have an amazing product every time 🫕 Chicken is one of those things that can easily be over cooked but if you keep and eye on it you will be right as rain 🌡️

🐣Here are my top three tips for juicy fall off the bone chicken 🐣

🍗 1. Get a Meat thermometer
Chicken is done at 165°f (or 74°c) you know your chicken is safe to eat at this temperature anything above this it starts to dry out. I recommend a non-digital thermometer. And check your chicken in three places; under the wing, behind the leg bone and in the breast.

🍗 2. Smother your chicken in some form of oil.
I prefer ghee, but you could use butter or olive oil as well. This gives you some moisture to melt into the chicken as well as adds flavor and something for your seasoning to stick to.

🍗 3. Baste your chicken!
"Basting chicken" means to periodically pour a liquid, like melted butter, marinade, or pan juices, over a cooking chicken to keep it moist and flavorful while it cooks. So whether you have a mixture set aside for this or if you cook your chicken over a pan to collect the juice you can use this 3-4 times during the cooking process to bring your chicken to the next level. You can use a few things to do this like a brush, baster, or even spoon your product. But this by far my best tip for juicy chicken
