Thursday Bible Life Today Greatest Locker Room Speech session 8 1-16-25

We're in John chapter 16, verses 16 though 33. We comparing Jesus' Upper Room Discourse to the Locker Room Speech of a basketball coach to his players before they go out onto the court to enter the game.
Jesus is giving some last minute thoughts and instructions. Some of them are new to the apostles; similar to a coach giving some new plans or instructions that the team hasn't heard before. They are going to be concerned or maybe unsure, and he will talk with them to assure them that they have been prepared for what's coming. Jesus is doing the same with His apostles on the night He will be betrayed.
