Is The Catalyst for Financial Collapse Homeowner's Insurance?

The fires in Los Angeles have brought new attention to what many in California and across the US have known for several years. Insurers hate to pay, not because they can't afford to keep their end of the deal, but because they covet profits. Not need or want, COVET. People who choose to build in remote and rural spaces either pay enormous premiums or forego the coverage. Many are forced to eliminate trees and shrubs to get their renewal, and having complied find that they are canceled anyway. Many companies simply cease to do business in such areas. This is the pattern wherever there are cyclical storm or fire events. Just one more tumor in the system about to burst.
