Hamas: Israel and Hamas reach ceasefire deal

A Hamas official has told Sky News a ceasefire deal between Israel and the group has been reached to end 15 months of war.

An official told Reuters the deal includes a six-week initial ceasefire phase, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces, the release of hostages held by Hamas and the release of Palestinian detainees held by Israel.

Reports suggest 33 Israeli hostages will be released.
