Biden's Legacy: Overall Prices Have Risen 20.7% Since He Took Office

Posted • January 15, 2025: Biden's Farewell Letter Is a Gaslighting Doozy — Tonight at 8 p.m. eastern, President Biden will deliver his farewell address to the nation. The November election made it clear that the nation's farewell address to Biden and Harris is more straightforward: https://i.giphy.com/WvHoExprkWC6A.webp -- Lately though, instead of choosing to recognize what voters told them on Election Day, Biden and Harris have been doubling down on the gaslighting and pretending they're actually handing over to Trump an economic, foreign policy and border security utopia of their own creation. Yes indeed, Biden and Harris made things in America so great that we threw them out the door in November (after the Democrats threw Joe out the door last summer). But ahead of Biden's farewell address to the nation, the White House has published a goodbye letter that is no doubt a preview of the kind of BS we're going to hear tonight:

Joe Biden has just released his farewell letter. Biden claims Trump victories as his own. We were in the grip of the worst pandemic in a century, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War. But we came together as Americans, and we braved through it. We emerged stronger, more prosperous, and more secure. Today, we have the strongest economy in the world and have created a record 16.6 million new jobs. Wages are up. Inflation continues to come down. The racial wealth gap is the lowest it’s been in 20 years. We’re rebuilding our entire nation—urban, suburban, rural, and Tribal communities. Manufacturing is coming back to America.”

“We’re leading the world again in science and innovation, including the semiconductor industry. And we finally beat Big Pharma to lower the cost of prescription drugs for seniors. More people have health insurance today in America than ever before. I signed one of the most significant laws helping millions of veterans who were exposed to toxic materials and their families, as well as the most significant climate law ever and the first major gun safety law in nearly 30 years. Today, the violent crime rate is at a 50-year low.” -- Referring to January 6th as the "worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War" is particularly offensive and insulting to anybody who was at Pearl Harbor or a victim on 9/11. The letter is a long list of alleged "accomplishments" that are laughable, such as "made housing more affordable."

This bunch can't be sent packing fast enough. Here's just part of the true Biden legacy: Overall prices have risen 20.7% since he took office. -- In the letter they brag about "bringing priced down." These people have brought nothing down, including one Chinese spy balloon.
