Autistic Boy Has An Amazing Birthday When Hundreds Of Vehicles Drive Past His House

This is the moment a car-mad autistic boy had the best birthday ever when 150 vehicles drove past his house - after a Facebook appeal by his mum. Rhian Peart sent out a social media plea hoping to arrange an extra special array of motors for son Eddie to see. She was stunned when car clubs from all over Yorkshire responded to Rhian’s post and 40 souped-up vehicles paraded down the street - much to Eddie’s delight. An original gift made a young mother to her four year old son who grows up with autism.

While many kids opt for a conventional way to celebrate their birthday, like visiting a local entertainment center, some choose more creative celebrations. Eddie Peart got his wish for a car parade, thanks to his mom’s Facebook plea and a host of volunteers. His mom’s post rallied local car enthusiasts to participate in a mini car parade for her autistic son. She wanted to make this year’s birthday extra special, to help alleviate the stress of starting school for the first time this September.

On August 20, little Eddie from Yorkshire turned four and his mother, Ryan Pert, made sure to make his birthday memorable. The boy is a car lover, a passion that comes from the fact that his relatives are working in the automobile industry. The 24-year-old woman, therefore, wrote a post on Facebook asking local guides and car clubs to parade in front of their home, as a birthday surprise for her son. The response was shocking, as 150 vehicles, many of which were modified, made the boy’s dream come true, passing and marching for half an hour in front of the excited Eddy's home.

"It was amazing what happened and a huge surprise for Eddie. He is passionate about cars and everything about them. So I thought of this idea to post on Facebook, however I wasn’t expected a huge arsenal of cars, only maybe four or five cars. I was speechless when I realized how successful the was” - said the little boy’s mother.

"I had no idea what brand most of these models are, but Eddie knew them all. He knows over 40 different brands and models only from the logos. He is an incredibly smart boy and he can become entertained only by listening to the noise cars do particularly at high turns. Subaru is his favorite. He could not stop laughing as soon as he saw them. Certainly these birthday will remain unforgettable to him” - his mom added.

The little boy will begin school soon and in this way his mother wanted to unload him from the upcoming stress. “He starts school in September andI expect him to be anxious. It will be a huge change as it will be far from me and his little brother, Logan” - concluded the mother.
