PHRK visits: Perm region, camp museum “Perm-36”. -30.03.2022-

Danish author and translator Povl Heinrich Riis-Knudsen has been traveling around Russia in a Russian car with his Russian wife Valentina for almost 4 years. The spring 2022 Russia trip started in Moscow and lasted exactly 40 days from March 20, 2022. The Orthodox Dane Pavel (this is Povl Heinrich's name in Russia) and his Russian wife not only visit beautiful cities and lovingly tell their friends in Denmark and other countries of the world about it, but also visit memorial places of sorrow with pain in the heart. It is impossible to rewrite the history of countries and peoples - it remains as it was lived and experienced. And in order for the difficult moments of history not to repeat themselves, it is necessary to know, rethink and remember them.
