Danish author and translator Riis-Knudsen Povl Heinrich is traveling in Russia with his Russian wife Valentina. In Russia he is called Pavel because in order to marry an Orthodox woman in Russia he also converted to Orthodoxy in 2018 and was named after the chief apostle Paul.

Paul, an Orthodox Dane, not only travels around Russia with his Russian wife, but also in a Russian car, the Lada Granta. He specifically bought a car in Russia to be able to travel in it and is very happy with his successful acquisition. Since May 2019, Pavel and Valentina have not only traveled in half of Russia, but also visited 20 other countries around the world.

Pavel especially likes traveling around Russia - a big and beautiful country with friendly and helpful people. Pavel and Valentina have many friends both in Russia and in other countries. As they travel the world, they build bridges of understanding and friendship between the people of different countries. This is what they see as their mission today.
