PHRK visits: Along the Chuiski Tract (Altai Rep.) on the way to Mongolia, Seminsky Pass -21.04.2022-

Danish author and translator Povl Heinrich Riis-Knudsen has embarked on a journey through Russia with his Russian wife. They drove from Moscow to Gorno-Altaisk (Altai Republic) in a Lada Granta from March 20 to April 20, 2022. In this video story we see their drive along the Chuisky Tract to Ongudai via Seminsky Pass.

In Russia, Povl Heinrich is called Paul because in order to marry his Orthodox wife he also converted to Orthodoxy (he was baptized in the Russian Orthodox Church with the name Chief Apostle Paul).

Pavel, an Orthodox Dane, sees this journey through Russia as his mission of peace - showing Russia to his friends from Denmark and other different countries as he sees it with his own loving eyes. He believes that in these difficult times, with the Western and American media spewing lies about Russia and Russians, he must help - so he writes encouraging articles and his wife Valentina makes videos of the journey.
