PHRK visits: Walking tour in Novosibirsk, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral -11.04.2022-

Danish author and translator Povl Heinrich Riis-Knudsen (called Pavel in Russia) is traveling in Russia with his Russian wife. On April 10, 2022, they arrived in a Lada Granta in Novosibirsk. Paul, an Orthodox Dane, bought this car especially for traveling around Russia and other countries.

In order to marry his Russian wife, he converted to Orthodoxy in May 2018. He was baptized in the name of the Chief Apostle Paul - that's why he is called Paul in Russia. He was baptized with full rank by the confessor of the Brothers of the Holy Trinity Alexander Nevsky Lavra in Lavra's Trinity Cathedral.

Since then, his favorite Orthodox churches have been churches in the name of Saint Alexander Nevsky. On April 11, Pavel and his wife Valentina visited the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Novosibirsk. It is an amazing ancient temple. Pavel shares his impressions with his friends in Denmark and around the world.
