Lazy people | psychology ☣️.
The image you shared claims that "According to science, laziness can be a sign of high intelligence." This idea originates from some psychological studies suggesting that people with higher intelligence tend to engage in more mental activities and are less likely to feel the need to constantly keep themselves busy with physical tasks.
One such study, published in the Journal of Health Psychology in 2016, found that people who scored high on measures of "need for cognition" (a tendency to enjoy and engage in thinking deeply) were less physically active than others. This could be interpreted as a preference for mental tasks over physical ones, which might come across as "laziness."
However, the idea should not be taken as a universal truth. Laziness can result from many factors unrelated to intelligence, such as lack of motivation, stress, or physical health issues. It's important to look at the context when considering statements like these.
