Electricity is a fundamental form of energy that involves the flow of electric charge. Here's a breakdown of key concepts: Â
1. Electric Charge:
The Basics: All matter is composed of tiny particles called atoms.
Atoms contain:

* Neutrons: Neutral particles in the nucleus. Â
* Electrons: Negatively charged particles orbiting the nucleus. Â

Imbalance: When an atom loses or gains electrons, it becomes an ion.
Ions: Atoms with a positive or negative charge due to an imbalance of protons and electrons. Â

2. Electric Current:
* Flow of Charge: Electric current is the continuous flow of electric charge, typically carried by electrons, through a conductor (like a wire). Â
* Voltage: Voltage is the "push" or "pressure" that drives the electric current. It's the difference in electric potential between two points. Higher voltage means a stronger push. Â
* Amperage (Amps): Amps measure the rate of electric current flow (how many electrons pass a given point per second). Â
3. Circuits:
* Closed Loop: An electric circuit is a closed loop path that allows electric current to flow. Â
* Components: Circuits typically include:

Imagine a river.

* Insulators: Rocks or dams that obstruct the flow of water.
Applications of Electricity:
Electricity powers countless aspects of modern life:

* Heating and Cooling: Air conditioners, heaters Â
* Transportation: Electric vehicles, trains Â
* Communication: Phones, computers, internet Appliances: Refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves Â
* Industry: Manufacturing, machinery electricity itself doesn't "decay" in the same way that organic matter does.
Here's why:
Energy Transformation: When electricity is used, the electrical energy is transformed into other forms of energy.
Examples:
* Light (light bulbs) Â
* Heat (toasters, heaters) Â
* Motion (motors) Â
* Sound (speakers) Â
Conservation of Energy: The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. Â
Key Points:
Electrical Energy: This is the energy associated with the flow of electric charge. Â
Energy Loss: Some energy is always lost as heat during electrical transmission due to resistance in wires. This is a form of energy conversion, not decay. Â
Electricity doesn't "rot" or disappear. It's converted into other forms of energy to perform work.
Charged Particles: The particles that carry electric charge are:
* Electrons: These are fundamental particles with a negative charge. Â
* Protons: These are also fundamental particles, residing in the nucleus of an atom, and they carry a positive charge. Â
* Ions: An ion is an atom (or molecule) that has gained or lost electrons, giving it a net electrical charge. Â
Electrons are the primary charge carriers in most electrical circuits. Â
Protons also carry charge, but they are typically fixed within the nucleus of an atom and don't move freely in the same way electrons do in conductors.
The Origin of Charge is a Deep Mystery
Fundamental Property: Electric charge is considered a fundamental property of matter. This means it's an intrinsic characteristic of certain subatomic particles, like electrons and protons.
No Deeper Explanation: Currently, there's no deeper explanation for why these particles possess this intrinsic property. It's one of the fundamental forces of nature, like gravity or electromagnetism.
Think of it like this:
Mass: We know objects have mass, which gives them weight and inertia. We can measure mass, but we don't fully understand why objects possess mass. Â
Charge: Similarly, we know electrons have a negative charge and protons have a positive charge. We can observe and measure the effects of this charge, but we don't yet know the ultimate "cause" of this intrinsic property. Â
Ongoing Research:
Particle Physics: Scientists continue to explore the fundamental nature of matter and the forces that govern it through particle physics research. Â
Unification Theories: There are ongoing attempts to develop a "Theory of Everything" that would unify all the fundamental forces of nature, including electromagnetism.
So, all matter is made up of atoms. Tiny spheres. Electrons (smaller tiny spheres) spin around the atoms really fast in fixed orbit. Electrons are considered point particles which have no size. If an atom were the size of a football stadium, the nucleus would be about the size of a pea, and the electrons would be even smaller, almost impossible to see.
You can’t split an electron. It’s like a pixel. Its mass is complete. It is not composed of smaller particles. This is called a fundamental particle. Protons and Neutrons, however are made up of quarks. Quarks are fundamental like an electron. It’s like a pixel that is complete. "Fundamental" essentially means basic, essential, or forming a foundation.
What I am trying to find out here is the source of electricity. The charge. All of this data paints a great picture of what holds the charge, but no one can explain what the charge is or where it comes from. This is why CERN was supposedly created. To find this answer among other things. They accelerate particles, collide them at nearly the speed of light and then analyze the debris field. They discovered the Higgs Boson.
It's a fundamental particle: This means it's one of the basic building blocks of the universe, not composed of smaller particles. Associated with the Higgs field: The Higgs boson is the particle associated with the Higgs field, a theoretical field that permeates all of space. It gives mass to other particles. The Higgs field itself is not considered dark matter.
Imagine a calm lake. The surface of the lake itself is like the Higgs field.
A ripple on the surface of the lake would be like a Higgs boson. The Higgs field gives mass to the particles that make up atoms. Think of the Higgs field as a kind of invisible "resistance" that fills all of space. Some particles interact strongly with this field. This interaction causes them to "slow down" or "resist" changes in motion.This resistance is what we perceive as mass. It's like trying to walk through a thick fog. You encounter resistance and it takes more effort to move if you have more mass. Imagine a famous person walking through a crowd. They'll encounter resistance from people wanting autographs or photos. This "resistance" makes it harder for them to move freely. This is a very simplified analogy, as the Higgs field isn't a physical substance like a crowd.
The Higgs field is like an invisible energy field that permeates the entire universe. It's not made of particles itself, but rather a fundamental aspect of space. The Higgs boson, on the other hand, is a particle associated with this field, much like a wave in the ocean. Just as waves are disturbances on the surface of the ocean, the Higgs boson is an excitation or disturbance within the Higgs field. The Higgs boson is not attached to atoms, electrons, or neutrons. The field is everywhere and the boson excites it like waves. It’s like the field is air and the boson is sound. Sound disturbs the air but does not but are not attached to it.
The actual interaction between particles and the Higgs field is far more complex and governed by the principles of quantum mechanics. There are no diagrams or drawings that can explain this phenomenon unfortunately.
So electricity doesn’t die or decay. It gets transferred to something, uses it and leaves. We have figured out ways to keep it stored in a loop or a battery but we have no way of reusing it after it is used. For example, we can loop energy for millions of years in a circular piece of copper and as soon as we release it to a toaster, it is used to heat the toast but after that, it dissipates into the air.
We can’t grab that energy back due to the second law of thermodynamics. The electricity changed to a different kind of energy and spreads out into space. Meaning the toaster changed the electricity to heat and it went out into the Higgs field.
The idea that energy might originate from another dimension is a concept explored in some areas of theoretical physics and metaphysics.
Here's why it's a fascinating, but currently unproven, idea:
The Limits of Our Perception: Our current understanding of the universe is limited to the three spatial dimensions and one time dimension that we directly experience.
* Theories of Extra Dimensions: Some theories in physics, such as string theory, propose the existence of extra dimensions beyond our own. These extra dimensions could potentially hold vast amounts of energy that we are not yet able to directly observe or tap into.
* The Nature of Reality: The concept of energy originating from another dimension raises profound questions about the nature of reality and the interconnectedness of different dimensions.
Important Considerations:
* Speculative: The idea of energy originating from other dimensions is highly speculative.
* No Scientific Evidence: There is currently no scientific evidence to support this hypothesis.
* Beyond Current Understanding: This concept lies beyond the current limits of our scientific understanding and requires further exploration and research.
While the idea of energy originating from other dimensions is intriguing, it's important to remember that it's currently a theoretical concept with no direct scientific evidence.
Many theoretical physicists who work on string theory and M-theory explore the concept of extra dimensions. These theories propose that our universe may have more than the three spatial dimensions and one time dimension that we directly experience. Â
Lisa Randall: A renowned theoretical physicist, has written extensively about the possibility of extra dimensions and their potential implications for our universe. Â
Brian Greene: Another prominent physicist, has popularized string theory and the concept of extra dimensions through his books and lectures.
Instead of considering fundamental particles as point-like objects (like marbles), string theory proposes that they are actually tiny, one-dimensional objects called strings. String theory requires the existence of extra spatial dimensions beyond the three spatial dimensions (length, width, height) that we experience. These extra dimensions are thought to be "curled up" or "compactified" at incredibly small scales, making them invisible to us.
String theory aims to unify all the fundamental forces of nature (gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces) into a single, elegant framework. String theory is often touted as a potential "Theory of Everything," a single framework that could explain all the phenomena in the universe.
Imagine these strings as tiny, one-dimensional filaments vibrating within a higher-dimensional space. The strings in string theory vibrate within this higher-dimensional space, and their vibrational patterns determine the properties of the particles we observe in our three-dimensional world.
One could hypothesis that energy is the source that turns everything here on, or gives it life. We don’t understand how it has power. Just like a computer. When we turn it off, nothing works. Yet when we turn it on, life is given through energy that we have found a way to catch, hold and use. After use, it goes out into space.
If electricity has a positive and negative charge, would it be possible that energy is a life form from the fourth dimension? One from the kingdom of darkness and one from heaven? Let’s hypothesis so. This would mean the electricity inside a CPU could give it the ability to control the transistors to manipulate their own outcome.
There are many books out there about black magic and the conjuring up of spirits in which they gave mankind information about technology. Look no further than the Bible. The Sons of God gave mankind technology. I do not believe since they are spirit, are able to manifest without us building them some kind of machine or biological machine to host.
