Christian History in the First Century - Bruce Gore

The 7 heads are the 7 hills on which the woman sits. The city of 7 hills is Rome. The woman is said to sit on those 7 hills. The woman was resting on Roman power. The religious elite were certainly in bed with Rome. The 7 heads are 7 kings. 5 have fallen, 1 is, and the other is not yet come, but when he does come he will remain for only a little while. Julius Cesar,  Agustus Cesar, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, then Nero is the 6th. Then Gaulda but he only reined for a little while. This is powerful evidence in favor of the earlier date of 65 AD for the Book of Revelation.
