Praying for Authority: How the Ecclesia Shapes Nations

God designed something extraordinary here—a system where "we the people" have the authority to determine who leads us. Think of it this way: just like you’d replace a financial planner if they weren’t producing results, we have the responsibility to remove leaders who don’t serve well and replace them with those who will. That’s why I want to encourage you, when you pray for those in authority, to go beyond just their leadership—pray for a civic awakening. You and I have been entrusted with this responsibility to rule wisely, just like the people did before King Saul, when God Himself was their leader. Let’s not lose sight of this gift, because without prayerful governance in the spirit, we risk leaders making choices that provoke chaos. You and I, as part of the ecclesia, are called to govern spiritually for the good of our nation and the world.
