Friends and family are looking back on the life and career of one of Kansas City's most decorated and respected high school basketball coaches. William Madison spent 40 years as one of the most influential coaches in the Interscholastic league. At Manual, Southwest and Northeast, Madison won 612 games, including a state championship in 1971. More important than all the accolades was his special bond with the young men he coached, all the way to the very end.
