Things Look Bad for CAPTAIN AMERICA 4 Opening | MARVEL Could Lose Hundreds of Millions

Early projections are in for Captain America: Brave New World and right now it’s looking like it’s going to be a massive flop for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU.

The numbers being reported by Deadline are not by themselves catastrophic, but when comparing the projected opening weekend with prior Marvel movies within the MCU it would seem Captain America 4 will have a low opening. This is bad news when you consider the reported budget for the movie is one of the highest for the entire MCU. This means the movie needs to make over $1 billion in order to reach profitability and the opening suggests it won’t come anywhere near that without long legs.
