The fires in Los Angeles could "take off" again on Tuesday or Wednesday, the Pasadena fire chief has told the BBC.

High winds are forecast - and Pasadena fire chief, Chad Augustin, said they are at a "fork in the road" in the fight against the blaze.

There are three wildfires still burning in the LA area - the largest, the Palisades fire, is just 13% contained.

The number of people killed has risen to 24.
