Iran added 1,000 strategic drones to its fleet amid tensions with US and Israel

Iran's regular army on Monday said it has added 1,000 "strategic drones" to its fleet amid tensions with the U.S. and Israel.

Videos broadcast on state TV showed various drones in an unknown location, with Iranian Defense Minister Gen. Aziz Nasirzadeh and the commander-in-chief of Iran's army, Gen Abdul Rahim Mousavi, reviewing the drones.

The development comes amid growing concerns over a possible attack against Iran's nuclear sites.

In recent days Iran performed air defense drills near Natanz and Fordo, its key nuclear facilities.
