Worst "Assault Weapons" Ban in Colorado History Hits the Statehouse - Here's What You Need to Know

Breaking: Colorado Democrat lawmakers have introduced SB25-003, their latest attempt at an "Assault Weapons Ban". The bill bans all semi-automatic rifles and shotguns that accept detachable magazines, some semi-automatic pistols, rapid fire triggers, and bump stocks, but is being pushed by Senate Democrats as an extension of the state's ban on magazines larger than 15 rounds. In reality it's one of the most far reaching semi-auto gun bans the state has ever seen, far worse than what was proposed - and killed - the past two years.
