Prince Harry, Meghan Markle spotted helping LA fire victims after opening Montecito home to evacuees

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen helping wildfire victims in Los Angeles at the Pasadena Convention Center. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in Montecito, approximately 90 miles away, distributed food and supplies to affected families and thanked first responders, including firefighters and police.

Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo praised the couple, saying their visit boosted the morale of first responders and residents. The royals also met with chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen team at food stations to express gratitude for their relief efforts. They later visited the Rose Bowl, where they engaged with families and toured burned-out areas in Pasadena and Altadena. Gordo noted their genuine concern and desire to help, adding that they visited World Central Kitchen anonymously, wearing masks and caps to serve food.

The couple emphasized the need for community support, urging those able to offer shelter to evacuees. Their Archewell Foundation is actively coordinating relief efforts and has highlighted organizations needing donations.

The wildfires, which began Tuesday, have caused extensive destruction, with at least 10 fatalities and 180,000 evacuations. Celebrities including Jenny Garth and Paris Hilton have lost their homes. Harry and Meghan reportedly opened their Montecito mansion to evacuees, continuing their efforts to support affected families during the crisis.
