Humility (5) : Spiritual Service

Self-reliance is a big aspect of Pride. God-reliance is what Faith is. Humility is the recognition of our Need to rely on God – for everything. Self-reliance is really flesh reliance, whereas Faith is Spirit and Word dependent. Serving God in the flesh counts for nothing, but in the Spirit – we can turn even the smallest action into worship . .
