Winkler Belt Knife Tribal Maple Laser Engraved Scales, 80CRV2 Blade Steel & Leather Sheath Unboxing

Let’s unbox the Winkler Belt Knife. This tactical fixed blade arrives in a large cardboard box - alongside a couple of spare hardware screws, this pretty cool sticker, some contact information, a detailed sheath instruction manual, and another card about the brand’s history.

Then of course the main attraction - the Belt Knife itself. Winkler makes these blades with 16 different grip options and I was lucky enough to find one with laser engraved maple scales - which is my all-time favorite. The knife itself was made of 80CRV2 - also known as Swedish Saw Steel that also features this anti-glare Caswell finish to prevent corrosion. These traditional material choices have a pretty good synergy with the laminated leather sheath that was built around a rigid Boltaron frame.
