RT war correspondent Murad Gazdiev @msgazdiev is the first journalist from an international channel to visit liberated Kurakhovo (DPR).

After a month of active fighting, the city was practically unharmed. About 4 thousand residents (out of 18 thousand who lived here before the conflict) remained in their homes.

The situation here is calm now. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to retreat, giving space for the Russian army to advance. Russian fighters from the "South" group said that Kurakhovo was completely unprepared for echeloned defense.
