With entry code in hand, we head to the Control Tower, another place that cannot be exited without the use of a spell or special ability. I was going to fully explore the tower, but changed my mind on the 1st floor since the floors are simply large empty mazes. We defeat the end boss (with the right spell, the battle can last about 15 seconds total) and the end sequence plays.
8:10 -- Control Tower gate
28:59 -- 2nd Floor
37:10 -- 3rd Floor
41:36 -- 4th Floor
42:54 -- Boss battle
48:09 -- 5th Floor
1:00:11 -- 6th Floor
1:02:28 -- 7th Floor
1:05:51 -- End Boss
1:13:19 -- End Boss, Take Two
1:13:48 -- End Sequence
1:20:04 -- End Credits -- Credit to Moby Games for the translation of the game credits

Translations are machine translations (turn on captions for translations). I used the Bing and Google translators as well as https://nihongodera.com/tools/kana-converter for word by word translations. I also used http://www.moemoe.gr.jp/~yourtoy/last/index.html It has most, or possibly all, of the text (all in Japanese) from the PC88 version. I'd say at least 90% of the two versions' event scripts are identical -- I did not compare the text on the slates.

Last Armageddon was originally released on Japanese PCs in 1988, being ported to PC Engine in 1990 on CD. It was also ported to Famicom a couple months later. It never got a release outside of Japan.

Played on a PC Engine Duo-R using composite out, running it through a RetroTINK 5X-Pro to an Elgato HD60 X capture card. Recorded in OBS Studio.
