Injured Phoenix officer is alert and talking after being shot by a suspect

On Friday, Phoenix police told ABC15 the 27-year-old officer is now in stable condition, alert and breathing, and is expected to survive. The condition of the suspect is unknown at this time but police say he is also expected to survive.
