Exodus Chapters 5 and 6 Bible Study Explanation

Exodus Chapter Five teaches several important lessons that are crucial to Christians today including God's demand for freedom and the importance of obeying God. Further, Obeying God's word and doing God's will can lead to blessings, but the path to those blessings may include successes and failures, emotional elation and depression. Confronting evil in our lives is a must but there are moments in life where things get worse before they get better but when they do, we must double down on our relationship with God. Chapter Six features God's promise to free the Israelites from Egypt and establish a covenant with them. God promises the Israelites freedom when he appears to Moses and tells him that he will deliver the Israelites from Egypt and give them the land of Canaan and while there is doubt, God offers reassurance.
