We have completed the first book of the Bible, Genesis, our beginning, and now a new history for the Israelites begins Exodus Chapter. Exodus Chapter Five teaches several important lessons that the Israelites learned the hard way and we, today, should apply to our lives including: God's demand for freedom and the importance of obeying God. God illustrates that Israel belongs to God and demands Pharaoh let his people go but we also learn how important it is to obey God.
